Privacy
Oilnote collects nothing. Your records stay on your iPhone and in your own iCloud account, which we cannot read.

What we collect
Nothing. Oilnote has no account, no server, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party code. On the App Store its privacy label is Data Not Collected, and it does not track you.
Where your records are
- On your iPhone. Vehicles, services and fill-ups are stored on the device.
- In your own iCloud. If you are signed in to iCloud, Oilnote syncs through your private iCloud database so your records reach your other devices. Apple holds that data under your Apple Account. We have no access to it.
- In backups you choose. The weekly backup copy goes to Oilnote's folder in your iCloud Drive, or to Files on the iPhone. Those files are yours.
Purchases
The one-time unlock is bought through Apple. Apple processes the payment; Oilnote receives only whether the unlock was bought, and sends nothing of its own.
Reminders
Service reminders are scheduled on your iPhone. No server sends them.
Export and sharing
When you export a CSV, it goes only where you send it from the share sheet.
This website
This site has no cookies, no analytics and no tracking scripts. The host keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security and operation.
Children
Oilnote is not aimed at children and collects no data from anyone.
Changes
If this ever changes, this page will say what changed and when, before the app does it.
